Maximum proximity to the prototype in action functions

The tri-axle hook lift THL 30 L is capable of pulling a 30-ton skip – WIKING has miniaturised even the minutest detail of the chassis and the variable skip with its high side walls and thus created a highly accurate 1:32 model of the most powerful transport combination found in the 200 hp class. The chassis consists of a detailed chassis frame with a metal draw-bar. In this way, attractive combinations can be put together with the available WIKING tractors. Particularly with this innovative loading vehicle, the details provide fascination for the observer like none other. The three axles are equipped with spherical tyres that usually sport a knobby profile. The fenders in authentic checker plate look are beautifully in synch with the prototype – and made of metal, naturally. A support stand in the front on the left ensures stability while the control boxes, oil filter and other attachments upgrade the precision model. In the rear, the bumper has inserted tail lights. The moveable hook lift equipment is replicated in rich detail, and the same applies to the air suspension with air bellows. The motion sequences when lifting and rolling off the skip are absolutely true to reality. Precision model makers, for example, make the arm on the hook lift telescopic. And even with the transport skip, WIKING ignites a great love of detail. This skip made of metal with high side walls appears perceptibly weighty and can be opened at the rear. In addition, the skip stands on wide movable metal rollers that support putting down the open transport container.
